佐藤研への配属は基本的に入試や授業の成績とは無関係で、学部時代のバックグラウンドは問わない方針です。ただ、もし人が集中した場合はHCI/VR分野に関連した過去のものづくり経験(プログラミング・電子工作等の経験、もしくは具体的な制作物)および学部時代の個人・サークル等での活動実績(Maker FairやNicoTech等のものづくり系イベントでのアウトプット、IVRCやWISS等のHCI/VR系の学会での発表経験等、またロボコン等での出場歴・受賞歴)、その他経験をお持ちの方を歓迎します。もしそれらの実績をアピールできる資料等があれば、是非何でもお見せください。
また、今年度は佐藤研への配属を希望する人が多くなる可能性があり、定員の関係で佐藤研への配属を希望した場合でも配属できない場合もあり得ます。ですので、是非複数の研究室の併願を行っていただくことも強くおすすめします。これらについても、来ていただいた方には相談させていただく予定です。是非一度ご相談ください。

If you are interested in being assigned to the Sato Lab, please contact Sato(by Email).
Basically, the requirements for assignment to the Sato Lab have no relation to entrance examinations or class scores. Also, your background as an undergraduate is basically unimportant.
However, if there is a concentration of students, we will place more emphasis on applicants who have past experience in manufacturing and activities during their undergraduate years related to the HCI/VR field as described below. So, if you have any materials to show those achievements, please bring them with you.
- Specific creations using programming, electronics, and other technologies
- History of participation in and awards received at Maker Fair, NicoTech, and other manufacturing-related events.
- Presentation experience at HCI/VR related conferences such as IVRC, WISS, Interaction, etc.
- participation in and awards received at RoboCon and other events.
We expect that there will be a large number of students who wish to be assigned to Sato Lab this year, and due to capacity limitations, even if you wish to be assigned to Sato Lab, you may not be able to do so.
For this reason, we strongly recommend that you apply to several laboratories at the same time. We will also discuss these points directly with those who come to the consultation. Please contact as soon as possible.
